Under these conditions of indeterminacy, we collaborated, experimented and attempted to exploit our status as visitors to a city that constantly asserted our relegation to the margins.

We temporarily found a space to work, tease out ideas, and challenge one another for a modestly-sized temporal bubble.

Five individual artists were invited to present their work in a series of solo exhibitions over the spring and summer of 2005:

A collaboration was also initiated between Raum3 and the temporarycontemporary, an alternative space in London's Depford district. Eight artists from biennale! artist film and video exhibition were chosen for presentation: David Blandy, Lu Chunsheng, Oriana Fox, Francis Lamb, Damon Packard, Josafina Posch, Mark Aerial Waller, and Jen Wu.
